About

I was born in San Jose, Costa Rica, and soon after relocated to Managua, Nicaragua, where I resided until completing my high school education. Throughout my childhood, I played multiple sports, including Soccer, Tennis, Racquetball, and Baseball, inspired by outstanding athletes such as Lionel Messi and Roger Federer.

Alongside my interest in sports, I've always been intrigued by the mechanics of how things operate, which drove me to disassemble electronics such as old laptops, phones, fans, and little RC cars—a hobby my parents were not very fond of! I feel that this sense of curiosity motivated me to pursue an Engineering degree following my high school graduation.

I first set foot in San Antonio, Texas, in August 2016 to begin my journey at St. Mary's University (Go Rattlers!). Throughout my tenure at St. Mary's, I experienced significant personal growth, not only academically but also in terms of time management, responsibility, and adapting to new household chores. I formed enduring friendships that feel like family and crafted unforgettable memories.

Completing my education at St. Mary's amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic presented obstacles in securing employment. However, I consider myself fortunate to have been granted the chance to thrive at Atma Energy, where I dedicated almost three years to the role of Solar Engineer. Presently, I am privileged to attend one of the top colleges in the U.S., pursuing a Master's in Engineering Management. This opportunity allows me to further develop my skills in product/project management, operations, strategy, and more.
